New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With Impossible Things, what you're seeing is the merging of Big Data and film making to result in an entertainment product that will entertain and be successful with a certain segment of filmgoers.

Producers of the first film to use artificial intelligence (AI) to help develop the storyboarding and plot twists and ensure there's a demographic market to make the finished product a success, has launched a Kickstarter campaign to reach backers for the new movie-making technology.

"Our AI software can provide powerful insights to everyone involved in film making," said Greenlight Essentials Founder and CEO Jack Zhang. "It not only evaluates and suggests plot twists and deviations, it also suggests which type of actors and actresses would make the movie more appealing, specific plot and cast combinations and even helps us find the right target market for the film to be successful."

Zhang, a mathematician who previously worked in the technology and finance industries, created and developed the patent pending data analytic process to begin the production of Impossible Things - a horror movie that the AI indicates will be very successful among female movie goers under the age of 25.

"Impossible Things was engineered with our AI, which can understand the relationship between movie plots and audience taste," Zhang said. "We used it to generate the premise and the key plot points of the film. Before a single word was written, our AI told us that if we wanted to match audience taste, we needed to make a horror film that featured both ghost and family relationship, and that a piano scene and a bathtub scene would need to be used in the movie trailer to increase the likelihood that our target audience would like it."

When the company aired the trailer for Impossible Things on its Facebook Page, Zhang says the AI-suggested key scenes "exploded," with more than 100,000 views on the social media site - and very positive comments from fans who are mostly young females under the age of 25.

Zhang says he created the idea of using AI because "the traditional creative process used today in film making does not take advantage of the vast amount of data and information available today."

A little over 85 percent of movies made today don't make a profit in box office, which is the result of a mismatch between the movies being produced and audiences' tastes," he said. "With Impossible Things, what you're seeing is the merging of Big Data and film making to result in an entertainment product that will entertain and be successful with a certain segment of film-goers."

Depending on their level of support, crowdfunding backers can receive a variety of products and recognition, including:

A digital copy of the script
A digital high-definition copy of the film
An exclusive backers' T-shirt
A DVD or Blu-ray version of the film with rare deleted scenes
Full access to Greenlight Essentials AI software for six months to help potential movie makers develop their own film

On screen credit when the movie is released
An associate producer credit when it appears on IMDB and on its Blu-ray cover
Two premier tickets
A 'mysterious prop/that was used in the actual movie

Greenlight Essentials was founded in 2015 by CEO Jack Zhang, a mathematician who previously worked in the technology and finance industries who formed the company to develop and implement a patent pending data analytic process to create entertainment products. Working in conjunction with Mich Medvedoor, a screenwriter who has produced several films, videographer and film student Aletia McKinnon, along with independent film entrepreneur and financier Charles Liburd, the founder of No Money No Cry Ltd, the company is currently creating Impossible Things - the first film where artificial intelligence is being used to help develop the storyboard and plot twists.
