New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Save Us From The Archon is starting off their August in a big way. The band took a journey across the U.S from their home state of Pennsylvania to California where they kicked off their tour with Sianvar and My Iron Lung. Guitarist
Nelson Brooks explains the band's excitement about being back on tour, "We're just glad to be out on the road again doing the only thing we love with some of our best friends."
In July, Save Us From The Archon traveled to
Chicago to perform on Audiotree. The session is now available online and you can check it out here. Guitarist Andrew Cresto talks about the experience, "Audiotree is hands down the classiest and most fun session we've ever done and can't thank them enough for their hospitality and snap peas."
The Audiotree session was special as it was the last performance with bassist Samantha Zunich. The band agrees, "there's no one on this earth we love and respect more than Samantha. She will always be the most hardcore chick we know and will always be one of our closest friends." Bradley Treen will be taking over on bass and has toured with the band before. Cresto explains, "Brad has been a long time friend as well as an amazingly talented musician. He played bass for us on the Intervals tour so it was a very natural and comfortable transition for us, and we can't wait to shred the country with him again and again."

About Save Us From The Archon:
Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Save Us From The Archon (SUFTA) has sculpted a unique sound that is, at once, aggressive, chaotic, heartfelt, and hypnotic. Fast paced angular progressions are counterbalanced by soothing mellow interludes. The broad dynamics are tied together by their progressive foundation with a distinct melodic sentiment. While SUFTA's compositions nod to influences spanning math rock, metal, and punk, their sound is unmistakable.
On their new album L'Eclisse, one will find no human voice. While many bands depend upon a vocalist to express their creative vision, no words are necessary for SUFTA. Their expressive writing and poignant playing tell a vibrant story all their own.
SUFTA remains true to their DIY ethic on L'Eclisse as they wrote, recorded, and produced the record themselves. But, to further expand upon their vision, they have enlisted help to bring this new offering to life. The record marks their debut for Tragic Hero Records. Anthony Calebretta (Protest the Hero, Intervals) is mixing and mastering.
