Chart Topping Dance Music Artist Maiba Releases New Single And Album
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Maiba) The Germany-based dance music artist and DJ known as Maiba, who recently topped the U.K. dance charts, has just released her new single "Pain is love." The track was recorded in Los Angeles, and produced by Chizzy Stephens (Justin Bieber, J.Lo, Chris Brown). The video is available now, and the full-length album will be released Aug 12th.

With her recent success in Europe, reaching #5 on the U.K. dance charts with her single "Ego," Maiba is now aiming for the U.S. market. "It was absolutely amazing to record 'Pain is love' in L.A. It's always been a dream of mine to record in America, with an American producer," says Maiba of the creative process.

"I had a great time working with Maiba. She's passionate about what she does and it shines through with the music," says Chizzy.

Maiba says the goal with her songs is to be inspirational, and even though the title "Pain is love" could be perceived as blue, the song is actually about love. "It's about that certain kind of pain that is always connected to love. But it's a positive song, saying more or less that if you face that pain, you will be rewarded with the most amazing of all emotions, which is pure love," explains Maiba.

In addition to recording the song, she also did photo sessions and shot a music video, which is now available on her social media channels. "It's a great video. We shot it on a rooftop in downtown L.A., on a yacht in Santa Monica and in a music studio in Thousand Oaks," says Maiba enthusiastically.

Her debut album, Unleash the M, produced by multi-platinum selling producer Thomas Godel, was released Aug 12th, 2016, and is available on all major music platforms.
