This kind of documentary-album brings tracks recorded in four different Red Bull Studios locations around the world: New York, Los Angeles, London and S�o Paulo; in addition to recording stops in Kingston (Jamaica), Tokyo, Beijing, New Delhi, Mexico�s Monterrey and Mexico City.
90 ARTISTS FROM AROUND THE WORLD COLLABORATED ON COMPASS: Toots Hibbert (Toots & the Maytals), MC Lyte, Cornelius, Eugene H�tz (Gogol Bordello) , Rob Birch (Stereo MCs), Kool A.D. (Das Racist), Gael Garc�a Bernal, Emicida, Maluca, Kelli Ali, Tiombe Lockhart, Nina Sky, Tanto Blacks, Crystal Fighters, Bonde do Role, Mercurias, Bruno Morais y El Dusty.
In order to have a proper registration about the collaborative process in the Red Bull Studios, Red Bull Media House produced �Red Bull Studios pres. Compass�, a five-episode web series chronicling the album�s creation on site, with exclusive behind the scenes footage, interviews and more. The first episode will be aired on Monday, August 22 and the rest of all five episodes will be released one per day until Friday, August 26, date of Compass album launch. Episodes will be available exclusive on Red Bull Channels (redbull.com).
�This project is a little like good mezcal,� says Toy Selectah. �Each mezcal brand comes from a specific region and you can taste the difference.
Music is similar: All these artists represent where they come from.�
�It doesn�t matter if you are rich, poor, white, black� we wanted to show that if you put all these genres in the same place, it could work at the same time and that they can co-exist,� says Lara.

Camilo Lara is the founder of Mexican
Institute of Sound (M.I.S) and has released 4 albums since its formation in early 2000. His music is a visionary mixture that flirts with electronic, hip-hop, dub, cumbia and punk. M.I.S. has performed at such major music festivals as Coachella, Lollapalooza and Roskilde. Last year
