Tom Wurth's New Album "A Different Soul" Features Special Guests Vince Gill, T. Graham Brown & John Ford Coley
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Tom Wurth's new album A Different Soul is available from TomWurth.com and iTunes.
Every once in a while, someone comes along that has the quality, that believability tone in their voice with a simple but honest emotion, like he's talking late at night to his sweetheart in a quiet driveway. It's a gift. Tom Wurth has that gift.

TaDa Records has announced the release of GRAMMY nominated singer, songwriter and musician Tom Wurth's fourth studio album "A Different Soul", which features contributions from special guests Vince Gill, T. Graham Brown, and John Ford Coley. Wurth's previous releases include Midnight Rain, If the Road Runs Out, and his self-titled debut album.

A Different Soul, which is available from TomWurth.com and iTunes, was produced by renowned Nashville-based sound engineer T.W. Cargile, and by Tony Coleman who was B.B. King's drummer for 30 years.

The album features 12 original tracks including "You've Got to Hurt Before You Heal," which is quickly climbing Digital Radio Tracker's DRT National Airplay Top 200 Chart, and DRT National Airplay Top 100 Independent Chart, respectively. Other notable tracks include "Where I Belong" featuring vocals and guitar by Vince Gill, "I'm Gonna Build It" featuring vocals by T. Graham Brown, and "Let's Make Love" featuring vocals by John Ford Coley, who also joins Wurth on the emotionally-charged track "Once a Lover (Always a Friend)".

As with the other releases in his catalog, A Different Soul captures Worth's signature honesty and integrity. It's the same talent that inspired Eddie Money to comment: "Every once in a while, someone comes along that has the quality, that believability tone in their voice with a simple but honest emotion, like he's talking late at night to his sweetheart in a quiet driveway. It's a gift. Tom Wurth has that gift."

At the same time, A Different Soul is easily Wurth's most sophisticated and nuanced album to date. In one sense, it hearkens back and pays homage to his musical roots growing up in small town Iowa, where he was immersed in an eclectic mix of country, rock, gospel, soul, R&B and bluegrass.

Yet in another sense, the album pulls listeners into the present moment and invites them to experience the power and purpose of true, authentic music - whether that compels them to take an introspective journey, or inspires them to crank up the volume and simply enjoy some great tunes and world-class musicianship. And because the tracks are so diverse -- from the bold "Heartbreak Express" to the soulful "You've Got to Hurt Before You Heal" to the anthemic "Somebody to Love" - current and new Wurth fans can expect A Different Soul to remain a fixture on their playlist for quite a while.

"A Different Soul was the most complex and challenging, and yet the most important and inspiring project I've ever been a part of," commented Wurth, who has three top 30 hits to his credit, and has shared the stage with some of the most respected artists in music including Eddie Money, Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers, Lonestar, Billy Dean, Ronnie Milsap, Rascal Flatts, and many others. "There was no fast forward button with this album. We had to let it take shape and come together. But it was worth the wait, because the finished project blew us all away. Unlike anything I've ever done as a musician and artist, this release truly captures a different sound, a different style, and a different soul."
