Holly Elle Dedicates Touching Ballad To Those In Recovery
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Pop artist, Holly Elle released her latest single, Im Scared, a ballad dedicated to spreading awareness about substance addiction. The song is an emotional exploration of vulnerability, truth and ultimately courage, released in September in honor of National Recovery Month. Im Scared is now available to download on iTunes and for streaming on Spotify.

Every September, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) sponsors National Recovery Month to increase awareness and understanding of substance abuse and mental disorders and to celebrate the people who are in recovery. Nashville pop artist, Holly Elle wanted to dedicate her latest effort to this cause, noting that honesty is the first step to promoting happiness, health and recovery. This song is about getting right to the heart of the matter. Examining the truth and reality of fear, and just letting that show instead of hiding it. That's where we find real beauty, Elle comments. "I dedicate Im Scared to this cause. To anyone on the road to recovery, no matter what stage, and those who love them."

Following the release of her last single, Flip That Script, Elle has made a departure from the light-hearted and danceable style of earlier work, shifting to more somber piano-driven gems, which are all at once tender and startlingly raw. I've been opening up and experiencing a lot of personal growth and change lately, so naturally it's showing up in the music, Elle offers. Im Scared was produced and recorded by long-time collaborator, Isaac Hasson (Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez).

Originally from Canada, Holly Elle has always gravitated to music ever since she was a child. Raised in a musically inclined family, she was surrounded by rhythm and melody as far back as she can remember. As a musician himself, her father always encouraged her to explore music through voice, piano and clarinet. Elle found herself inspired by greats like The Beatles and Mariah Carey even as a little girl. With classical training, a love for all forms of pop music and a passion for musical theatre, Elles musical style is informed by an eclectic palate. She relocated to Nashville where she received a degree in Music Business, acquired training in classical and contemporary genres and fell in love with the famous music city she now calls home. Her music can be heard licensed in networks such as MTV and Oxygen; Music Connection Magazine noted her as one of the countrys hottest unsigned artists.

As addiction in all forms continues to become an increasingly important issue in our society, Holly Elles Im Scared is an evocative work with a pertinent message. Proving yet again to be unconcerned with the limitations of genre, Elle continues to surprise fans with work of depth and beauty.
