New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hertfordshire alt-rockers Chasing Cadence are extremely proud to release their new EP Destroy Something Beautiful today, out now on all good digital retailers.

For the last nine months Destroy Something Beautiful has been like our unborn child, say the band. Ever since we started writing and producing the record, we just wanted to pop it out and show everyone.

Were so happy that the day has finally come where we can share a piece of our heart and soul with the world in the hope that someone out there can relate.

The title of the EP is a reflection of our perspective on the music industry at the moment, an industry fuelled by money and focussed on regurgitated and manufactured songs, which in turn shuts out the beauty of creativity, innovation and most of all, diversity.

With this in mind, we are always totally humbled by the amount of support and love we receive and we hope that this can continue with the release of our new EP. Without you guys spurring us on, we would have stopped doing what we love a long time ago.

With each taste of new music revealed, Chasing Cadence are confidently striding into a future theyve long envisaged for themselves a band with one eye on their humble beginnings, but also in possession of a remarkably ambitious mindset and positive work ethic thats seen them aiming their crosshairs firmly at the leaders of the UK rock pack. Its this can-do attitude and a relentless pursuit of their dreams that drives everything they do.

The band will be playing a special live set for this years Unsigned Music Awards at the October ceremony. The show is to be held at the stunning Troxy theatre, London, and will be broadcast across the Box Plus Network (4Music, Kiss, Kerrang!, Box Upfront), as well as on a newly announced interactive freeview channel to be launched by Channel 4 in September and student union channel SubTV.

They will also play a special EP launch show on 29th September at The Black Heart in Camden, London with support from Junior, Harken and Artisans. Tickets for the release show are on sale now at https://chasingcadence.bigcartel.com and www.ourblackheart.com
