New York, NY (Top40 Charts) A sensational new Musical/Drama simply entitled Paddy is the work of International singer Tommy Fleming, Midwest Radios Tommy Marren and songwriter Gerry Carney.

September 24th, 25th & 26th of
September and was followed by a SOLD OUT Nationwide Tour of Ireland through October and November 2015. Such was the demand, they then returned to Castlebar for a further two nights on the 2nd and 3rd January 2016 which also SOLD OUT.
It boasts some fast-paced hilarious dialogue, tempered by moments of incredible pathos and emotion and enhanced by some beautiful directorial and production touches together with a captivating musical score - Western People
Paddy tells the story of emigration in all its shapes and forms. The two-hour production follows the tale of a young Irish emigrant called Patrick Murphy (played by Tommy Fleming) who leaves Mayo in the 1960s in search of fame and fortune. The show follows his life in both London city and Ireland over a 25 year period.
What an amazing Show - we thoroughly enjoyed it - if Tommy ever gives up singing he could get an acting job. Wonderful show, riveting from start to finish and true to life - we spent 18 years in London! Francis Jones
For
Director Tommy Marren, the project comes on foot of his hugely successful production of Its the Real McCoy which toured Ireland, the UK and
America over three years. He is confident that Paddy will be equally as successful.
People love a good story and I can promise them that Paddy isnt just a moving story but it also features some incredible songs. Weve gone to great lengths to make sure that the drama and the music sit comfortably together. The whole show is charged with emotion, comedy and strong songs. Only time will tell but Im really confident that if we can reproduce on stage what were doing in rehearsals this project will be magic.
For singer/songwriter Gerry Carney seeing Paddy hit the stage will be a dream come true. He wrote the song Paddy a number of years ago and has seen it recorded by numerous artists in Ireland.
Flemings performances have been rapturous. Musicals are regarded as escapism. But PADDY is no
Andrew Lloyd Webber slush fest. There are memorable songs and big set pieces and a dramatic arc that picks you up and sweeps you along. - Irish Examiner
