The song has been revered as "a boot stomping monster of a hit" (SB Studios), "Highly intoxicating," and "a much needed grittier take on modern country" (The Dutch Guy). "Johnny Cash" skyrocketed to the Viral Top 50 on Spotify in Brazil, and broke into the Top 50 US Independent Charts for digital plays as well.
