C.F. Martin & Co., Inc. Regains Ownership Of The Company's Trademark Registration In China
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / C.F. Martin & Co., Inc.) C.F. Martin & Co., Inc. (Martin Guitar) located in Nazareth, Pennsylvania is proud to announce it has regained the rightful ownership of three of its legendary trademarks in China.
"I look forward to the opportunity to legitimately market the Martin Guitar brand in a very enthusiastic market," says CEO & Chairman Chris Martin IV.

For more than 180 years, Martin Guitar has been recognized internationally for producing the highest quality acoustic guitars and strings on the market. The iconic Martin Dreadnought guitar model, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, is one of the most influential and replicated instrument designs in the world. Manufactured at Martin's headquarters in Nazareth, Pennsylvania and in Navajoa, Mexico, the guitars and strings are revered by musicians worldwide for their premiere craftsmanship.

Martin Guitar has worked diligently to ensure that only guitars and strings that Martin manufactures bear the company's distinctive trademark designs. By obtaining registrations for its three key trademarks in China, Martin will be able to significantly prevent counterfeit Martin products from entering the marketplace.

"I think it is incredibly important to note that we regained our trademarks in the PRC solely through processes afforded us in the Chinese government administrative agencies and the Chinese courts," says Greg Paul, Chief Technology Officer. "In short, while it has taken some time, the Chinese legal system ultimately got it right. This is not the story people are used to hearing about China and intellectual property."
