His first new material since the 2014 EP, To The Water, "
Seasons" is about transition, change, growth and movement. Marks' most contemporary track to date, it gives off a somewhat serene feeling as keys play over a minimalist beat, all tied together perfectly with the tranquil and harmonious vocals. "The song is about change…a change that is recurring, ongoing," Marks comments. "The change that is in ourselves and sometimes in our connections to one another, but it is inevitable." Branching out from his traditionally self-produced style, Marks enlisted the help of co-producer and mixer Michael Adrian to assist in bringing the track to life. Taking the collaboration a step farther, Adrian also directed the music video for the track. To celebrate the release, Marks and his band will be performing at The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles on Friday, November 11th where they will be debuting new material off of his upcoming EP.
The New York native, now a resident of Los Angeles, uses his passion for travel, people and new sounds to help mold his music. Marks is most notably recognized for his compelling vocals and songwriting prowess.
