New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Synth-pop duo Great Good Fine Ok have announced the release of their new EP 'III', which the band is putting out independently on Jan. 6. The first single from the EP, entitled "
Get Away" premiered this morning via Billboard, who called the track a "catchy" "emotional vacation."
The seven-track EP 'III' is a collection of new songs featuring Jon Sandler's signature dancefloor falsetto soaring over Luke Moellman's lush post-Space Age production. Indie Shuffle has said of the band, "I dare you to find another group in the past two years who has been so prolific and consistent with their releases while at the same time delivering some of the most heavenly signature falsetto vocals known to man."
Great Good Fine Ok have collaborated with The
Chainsmokers and St. Lucia, and have opened for Tove Lo, X Ambassadors, Betty Who, and many more. Their Spotify streams rank in the tens of millions, and they've earned praise from Entertainment Weekly, Stereogum, USA Today, and MTV, who dubbed them "Brooklyn's sparkliest synth-poppers."
Great Good Fine Ok has amassed a large contingent of loyal fans who have come to expect over-the-top live performances involving silk kimonos, triggered lights, and histrionic keytar solos, with Jon and Luke backed by drummer
Danny Wolf and guitarist Carey Clayton. The band will be heading out on tour in November, full itinerary below.
