Allegro Is The World's First Wireless Speaker That Relaxes With The Listener
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Everything started from my couch. The idea born by observing how me and my friends use their portable devices such as smartphones at home. This research led me to consider the living and in particular the couch as the main scenario.

Allegro, the revolutionary new wireless speaker that reinvents the way listeners connect with speakers to deliver sound in a more organic way, is live on Kickstarter and raising funds to bring the project to life.

Today's speakers are often cold, industrial, and hard objects in our life. Allegro is seeking to develop a personal and tactile relationship between speakers and listeners that connect on a level similar to other personal devices. Allegro is the result of this philosophy, to be at the listener's fingertips and ready to use with an organic and human touch.

"Everything started from my couch. The idea born by observing how me and my friends use their portable devices such as smartphones at home. This research led me to consider the living and in particular the couch as the main scenario," says founder and designer Alberto Tonini on the inspiration behind the project.

The Allegro is designed to live with the user. On the couch after a long day of work, in the bed resting at night, or draped over a chair at dinner, the speaker is designed to live with the listener. The Allegro has been stripped away of any extraneous functions while maintaining only the key basic features. The speaker wirelessly supports iPhone, iPad or any other smartphone, tablet or computer via Bluetooth technology. Through a small pocket on the back of the product users can easily pull out a hidden USB cable and recharge the embedded battery. It is outfitted with 2x 40mm high quality, full-range drivers, one large passive radiator for bass frequency reproduction, and a digital amplifier with long range bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.

The speaker consists of two layers of 3mm thick genuine natural felt, that nicely embeds a narrow rigid speaker enclosure containing all the electronics. The result is a drape-like speaker that lays perfectly over a couch but thanks to its adaptable nature can be used in many other places around the home such as chair, head board or hanged on wall. The Allegro is available in three different color options for the Kickstarter campaign.

"Allegro has been designed to simplify the interaction and encourage people to use the speaker thanks to a more organic approach and minimizing intentionally the technology," adds Tonini. "Allegro is the first 100% felt wrapped speaker for people that wants to enjoy music and multimedia contents at home through a reassuring and stylish device."
