NEW YORK (AP) - John Mellencamp, Lenny Kravitz, and Alicia Keys will perform at the 2001 VH1/Vogue Fashion Awards on Oct. 23 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

Always the star-studded event, other celebrities making an appearance include musicians No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, Sean "Puffy" Combs, Lil' Kim, Enrique Iglesias, Courtney Love, and Nelly Furtado, and actors Dylan McDrmott, Salma Hayek, Angie harmon, Renee Zellweger, Christian Slater, and others.

Meanwhile, fans recently voted for the nominees for the Visionary Video Award at VH1's Web site. The nominees are: U2, "Beautiful Day"; Radiohead, "Knives Out"; Fatboy Slim, "Weapon of Choice"; Aerosmith, "Jaded"; Everclear, "A.M. Radio"; Moby featuring Gwen Stefani, "Southside"; and Dave Matthews Band, "I Did It."
