New York, NY (Top40 Charts) 'Reverence' is out this Friday, January 20th via the Yamaha Entertainment Group of America. Produced by East and Yamaha Entertainment Group of American founder Chris Gero, the 12-song blend of originals and stylized covers is silky and sublime, tasteful but also inventive, each song a carefully crafted creation that could only be concocted by a musician with East's years of experience -- and experiences. The album features a high profile roster of collaborators, including Eric Clapton, original members of Earth, Wind & Fire, Phil Collins, Yolanda Adams,
Ruben Studdard, and
Nikki Yanofsky. And, of course, Nathan's trademark melodic bass.
Nathan ventures into multiple genres, from the gospel-inspired "
Feels Like Home" featuring the acclaimed vocalist Yolanda Adams, to the jazzy "Why Not This Sunday" featuring American Idol winner
Ruben Studdard, to "Serpentine Fire," featuring
Eric Clapton on guitar,
Phil Collins on drums, and original members of Earth, Wind & Fire, which Stereogum called a "fever dream of funk."
