New York, NY (Top40 Charts) In your lifetime, a potpourri of musicians will touch your soul. If COLOURS happens to be one of them, consider yourself blessed. The electro-indie duo from Florida broke out with last year's album Ivory, receiving critical acclaim worldwide from Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, Entertainment Weekly and countless other tastemakers. Today, COLOURS unveils their latest masterpiece, 'Mind Games.'
"'Mind Games' was written about the back and forth in relationships. It is the mental warfare we go through for our happiness," explains vocalist Kyle Tamo. Of the video, he continues, "We focused on two life-controlling themes - sensuality and fear. The female antagonist is the provocation that instigates fear in Morgan, who is physically defensive and resistant, while simultaneously invoking curiosity and pleasure in Kyle. Ultimately both emotions, and both Kyle and Morgan, come side by side under the guise of their unification - COLOURS. We aim to pull excitement, discomfort or both from the viewer. Successful art entertains while invoking sincere primal reactions. 'Mind Games' will do that beautifully and abstractly."
After captivating fans on recent tours with Andy Black,
Robert Delong and badxchannels, COLOURS will soon unveil their 2017 live excursions.
