The Unlikely Candidates Release EP February 17, "Ringer" Top 35 On Alt Chart, Headline Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Fort Worth, TX alternative rock band, The Unlikely Candidates will release Bed Of Liars, a six-song EP, tomorrow, February 17, 2017. Their single, "Ringer", is currently top 35 at Alternative Radio and spinning on KYSR in LA, WWDC in DC, WRDA in Atlanta, KTBZ in Houston, KTCL in Denver, WSUN in Tampa and dozens more.

Having built a strong following, winning over fans in every city they play in with their infectious songs, the band signed to Another Century Records in 2016 and hit Alternative Rock radio with two singles, "Your Love Could Start a War" (over 2 Million Plays On Spotify) and "Ringer."

The Unlikely Candidates are headlining their "The People's Choice" tour beginning February 17 in Tulsa, OK (dates below) and will be playing SXSW - more info coming soon. The last time they played SXSW they were mentioned in The New York Times as one of the dozen bands to watch and Esquire Magazine in their "The SXSW 2014 Bands You Need to Hear, A-Z" piece. Vanyaland described them in a piece about their "five new favorite rock and roll bands after leaving Austin" as "…a better, cooler Kings of Leon." Elsewhere, Perez Hilton said "This American band sounds a lot like Mumford And Sons with a bit more fun!"

The band has played Bonnaroo, Firefly, Riot Fest and have toured with St. Lucia, Nothing But Thieves, Weathers, and The Moth & The Flame. Most recently, The Unlikely Candidates were selected as part of Taco Bell's Feed The Beat program, and "Ringer" has enjoyed extensive in-store play with major brands including Whole Foods and Guess Jeans stores nationwide.

Bed Of Liars is available for pre-order on iTunes and Amazon, including an instant download of "Ringer," and will launch on all major music streaming services on street date.
