New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hailing from New York's mental health group-home system, 29-year-old rapper K2 Cocky has unleashed Mental TRILLness Volume One, a ferocious in-your-face mixtape sure to cause controversy and make noise in the Hip Hop community.
Yielding an edge-of-your-seat listening experience, K2's debut tape challenges all traditional conventions of Rap music by his unique combination of weirdo, horrorcore, and mainstream subgenres. K2 Cocky is constantly recording new material since his recent move from group homes into his own apartment, creating an average of 3 songs a day. K2 Cocky has had a tough, tragic life. His mother committed suicide in 2008 and soon afterwards was diagnosed with PTSD. He was institutionalized in NY's mental health system for 6 years, working on recovery.
