Merchant Vinyl Company Launches Affordable, Efficient Record Pressing For Everybody
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Recently launched, Merchant Vinyl Company aims to be the go-to spot for the independent music community's vinyl pressing needs. Founded by Garrett Wadford after growing frustrated with the many hassles of pressing vinyl for his burgeoning punk rock label, Wadford's goal with starting MVC was to make the entire process easier, faster, more efficient and more affordable for everybody. Garrett then brought on co-owners John Meloche and Lenneke Knape to help him carry out his vision.

MEET THE TEAM:
Garrett Wadford, Garrett grew up in the skate/surf punk culture, he played in various bands and toured both regionally and internationally. His love and passion for punk never wavered and led to him starting a global weekly podcast. This podcast expanded into a professional and popular record label dedicated to punk rock, Bird Attack Records. Established in 2012 in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, the main focus at Bird Attack Records is to get the music he loves out there and make sure the genre gets the exposure it deserves.

John Meloche, brings his creative design and development skills to Merchant. A guitarist in the defunct This Is A Standoff and currently The Fullblast, John has played in touring bands for over 10 years. Since 2007, he has also run Melodic Creative, a small design company that has worked with an endless stream of bands, record labels, booking agencies, and management groups. He's had extensive experience with the needs of both his clients and his own bands in terms of the current inefficiencies and overpricing of vinyl pressing, and jumped at the opportunity to make a difference in the industry.

Lenneke Knape, is the global label manager for Bird Attack records, she is band manager and former European Marketing and A&R manager at Macbeth footwear (owned by Tom Delonge, Blink182 & AVA). Lenneke has been working in the Music industry for over 15 years now and grew an extensive experience working for punk rock labels, as pr manager at Kung Fu records EU and as a freelancer for labels such as Epitaph & Bad Taste records as well as working for several independent bands and artist. Her expertise is mainly pr, marketing, and management.

PASSION
Through passion for music, Merchant Vinyl started as a way to change the industry for the better. Through years of ordering vinyl for their bands and the label, they realized there was a better way. Keep it simple to order and view pricing on popular packages, keep the delivery times fast at 8 weeks and most importantly keep the cost down for everyone, but especially for the bands and labels that need smaller runs and a more affordable price while maintaining the utmost quality for clients large and small. The 3's combined experience and industry knowledge along with a strong desire to change the industry as it now stands is proving to be a "game-changer" in the vinyl record pressing business.
