Alejandro Santoyo Conjures Haunting New Sound With Release Of Essence
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Alejandro Santoyo) Throughout the ages, music has moved humans to tears, to love, to longing, anger, and faith, but never before has it possessed the ability to give the listener a physical sensation of warmth and rest that can only be described as a joyful homecoming--until now. With the release of ESSENCE, international composer and pianist Alejandro Santoyo has given the world a transcendent new sound that elevates modern classical music to something that is at once accessible and ethereal.

"[Alejandro's] music is blissful, and when I listen to it I am instantly transported to a heavenly realm," said Alejandro Santoyo fan, Julianne Rothschild. "I am brought to a place of sheer joy. Euphoria is the most accurate word I can use to describe the influence [his] music has upon me. I get lost in it."

Santoyo counts classical melodies, modern aesthetics and film music among his inspirations, and ESSENCE weaves threads of each into a harmonic tapestry that is somehow greater than the sum of its parts. From the bright melodies of "New World" and "Just Us" to the optimistic swells of "Leaving Behind" and the dreamy touch of "Nenita" and "Morning Light," evokes peace while the listener spends time in Santoyo's world. The artist even throws in some surprises, like the choral/orchestral feel of "Elevation" and a combination of vocal tracks and Spanish guitar on "Discovery" but Santoyo and his piano are the soul of ESSENCE.

"...my compositions are stories told through music, music that evokes memories, desires, emotions, embedded in our minds, in our hearts, in our souls…," Alejandro explained.

"…ESSENCE was created to inspire and move the listener, and I'm excited to share it with the world. I hope to contribute to well-being through my music."

With ESSENCE, he has done just that.
