New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Brazilian/American rock band, Added Color, is pleased to announce their newest EP, 'Psycho' marking the band's debut under the moniker. On May 13, the band will embark on an international tour beginning in Morocco, followed by a 6-week U.S. tour this summer in support of their new EP.
"'Psycho' marks a very important time for our band. As a group, it's the strongest, most united we've ever been and musically, it solidifies an identity we've been building for the last 3 years," says Kiko Freiberg, Guitarist/Vocals for Added Color.
The EP embraces individuality, self-acceptance, and standing up for others. In addition to the EP, Added
Color has released a music video to accompany their first single. The new project was produced entirely by Added
Color and recorded by Grammy-nominated engineer Luiznho Mazzei, whose past credits include Capital Inicial, and Jota Quest.
Here are a few industry praises of the new EP:
"As the world keeps getting smaller, the idea of 'world music' is changing; Added Color's blend of influences embodies what it means to be an innovative blend of two diverse cultures. All music is heading in that direction, and these guys are ahead of the curve." - Kenny Gradney,
Little Feat
"Added
Color has a fresh sound that is much needed in today's rock scene. Catchy vocal hooks and a hard-hitting rhythm section provide an extremely enjoyable listening experience. Think Rage Against the Machine meets Tool." - Avi Serfaty of Revelation Management.
"Occasionally something very special grows within a field of the uninspired and now Added
Color has arrived bringing a bright light only a few artists possess." - Melissa Cross, Zen Of Screaming and celebrity voice coach.
Since their first release in 2014 (under "Unconscious Disturbance"), Added Color, comprised of Kiko Freiberg (guitar/vocals),
Daniel Freiberg (drums/vocals), Tim Haggerty (guitar) and
Danny Dahan (bass), have played over 200 shows across the United States, Canada and Brazil. The four-piece headlined Palco do Rock, Brazil's largest independent rock festival and were also featured at Brazil's PorĂ£o do Rock, which has showcased Muse and
Eagles of Death Metal.
