BottleRock Napa Valley 2017 Festival Concludes Successful Fifth Year
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The sold-out fifth installment of BottleRock Napa Valley, presented by JaM Cellars, has drawn to a close having entertained more than 120,000 attendees over the Memorial Day Weekend. In addition to headliners Foo Fighters, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and Maroon 5, the festival brought dozens of world-renowned musicians, Michelin-starred chefs, vintners and brewers for a three-day blend of music, wine, food, craft brews and incredible weather that can only be experienced in the world-famous Napa Valley. At the end of Foo Fighter's performance on Sunday evening, festival organizers announced that BottleRock Napa Valley will return May 25 - 27, 2018.

"It was truly an amazing and enjoyable weekend," said Dave Graham, CEO and co-founder of BottleRock Presents. "We are already deep into planning the 2018 festival and will continue to build and enhance the premium experience our festival-goers expect from BottleRock Napa Valley."

New in 2017, BottleRock Napa Valley featured the Sutter Health Wellness Spa offering an array of luxury services including hair styling, make up design, massage and hydration treatments. The festival also added expanded VIP viewing decks, however, the biggest and most welcome surprise was the lush new 210,000 square foot Bermuda grass lawn at the JaM Cellars Stage. BottleRock's VIP Village, Sky Deck, Luxury Suites and Platinum ticketing options add a level of comfort above and beyond most music festivals while general admission offers unparalleled amenities on the festival scene.

In addition to Foo Fighters, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers and Maroon 5, the JaM Cellars Stage was jumping all weekend with electric performances by Fitz & The Tantrums, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Andra Day, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Band of Horses and more. The Samsung Stage was an all-day party with dozens of performances including sets by Modest Mouse, Dirty Heads, The Roots, Silversun Pickups, House of Pain and The Naked and Famous. The Miner Stage saw performances by Galactic, AlunaGeorge, Giraffage, Bob Moses, Mavis Staples and more, and the Lagunitas stage featured Warren G, Ani DiFranco, Lewis Del Mar, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Barr Brothers and Highly Suspect, among others.

The Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage has become a festival standout, drawing thousands of viewers to watch top chefs, musicians and celebrities in memorable mashup moments combining food, music and antics. Appearing this year were Martha Stewart paired with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, and Chef José Andrés with a trio of bassists including Robert Trujillo of Metallica, Stefan Lessard of The Dave Matthews Band and Green Day's Mike Dirnt, with Hollywood Vampires' drummer Matt Sorum providing the percussion. Modern Family's Jesse Tyler Ferguson appeared onstage with Silversun Pickups and Chef Roy Choi. Actor Miles Teller joined Chef Tim Love and the Dirty Heads during their performance and Chef Masaharu Morimoto broke down a 120-pound blue fin tuna with the help of NFL greats Franco Harris and Charles Woodson. Closing the Culinary stage on Sunday was Chef Chris Cosentino paired with Fitz & The Tantrums, the Voltaggio Brothers with House of Pain and Chef Hubert Keller with Frenchy Le Freak. Creating the biggest stir, Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry jumped on stage during wife Ayesha Curry's Friday set with E-40 causing the crowd to erupt in chants of "MVP" while she rapped her recipe.

Another amenity unique to BottleRock Napa Valley is the up-close and personal pop-up acoustic sets by major festival acts. Michael Franti & Spearhead, Andra Day and Gavin DeGraw were spotted in the JaM Cellars JaMPad along with acoustic sets in the VIP Village by Saint Motel, Fitz & the Tantrums, Warren G, Dirty Heads, Judah & the Lion, Lewis Del Mar and The Strumbellas. In one of the weekend's biggest surprises, while Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers were delighting fans on the JaM Cellars Stage on Saturday night, the BottleRock silent disco featuring Outkast's Big Boi and The White Panda drew nearly 4,500 festival-goers, making it the country's largest silent disco to date.

BottleRock Napa Valley features an unparalleled combination of the world's biggest bands and artists alongside the hottest up-and-coming music acts paired with the finest wine, food, craft brews and incredible weather, making it one the most elevated and enjoyable festivals in the country.
