Reggae-Dancehall, SOCA, And EDM Converge To Create A New Music Festival
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Caribbean music has been influential around the world from Bob Marley all the way to Sean Paul, and has been injected in a lot of the music we listen to today from Top 40 all the way to EDM. Co-founder Kiwami Livingston.

Electric Karnival's Inaugural Festival Kicks Off In Miami July 3rd - May 21, 2017 - Electric Karnival (EK) takes the stage as Miami's newest music festival on July 3 set amongst the lush tropical environment of the Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. The one-day festival is a culture clash uniting Reggae, Dancehall, Soca, and EDM while orchestrating strong elements on Caribbean Carnival and J'ouvert.

This inaugural event promises to deliver an entire day of dancing, colored powder and visual stimulation complemented by headliners Walshy Fire of Major Lazer and top soca music artist Bunji Garlin (whose latest track was produced by former Swedish House Mafia megastars Axwell^Ingrosso). Other acts include Vision Sound (Ape Drums and Silent Addy), LL Cool Blaze, 4B, Brenmar, Slink, Private Ryan, Electric Punanny, 1stKlase, Willy Chin, Jeff Molner, Patrick "The Hype Man", Ryan Sayeed, Kyle De Souza, Tony X and more.

"Caribbean music has been influential around the world from Bob Marley all the way to Sean Paul, and has been injected in a lot of the music we listen to today from Top 40 all the way to EDM," said co-founder Kiwami Livingston.

"We created Electric Karnival to highlight what makes caribbean music so special while appealing to wider audiences; directly exposing them to our artists, music, and culture, while bringing the fusion that's been very popular in each of the genres the past couple years."

Electric Karnival is organized by a group of event professionals with multicultural backgrounds stemming from the United States, the Caribbean, South and Central America and have now rooted in South Florida for over a decade. The outdoor festival features ample parking, can hold 20,000 patrons, and will feature fully loaded premium cash bars and food from some of Miami's top restaurants and caterers.

Tickets are available now at https://www.ElectricKarnival.com with general admission starting at $45 and VIP for $125. Merchandise is also available on the festival website.
