Ben Dunham Music Announces New Album Backline Collective And Release Party
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Producer and musician Ben Dunham has today announced his album 'Backline Collective' will be released through Jug Brook Publishing on Friday, June 23rd, 2017. The Album Release Party will be hosted at Positive Pie, 22 State Street, Montpelier, Vermont, on June 23rd, 2017, from 10:00 pm - 2:00 am. The Release Party will feature original live music and is open to the public. For more information on the venue click here (https://www.facebook.com/events/1526737620730991).

The Backline Collective features 13 local Vermont artists that give each song a unique story and perspective. The musicians include Ben Dunham, Alex Gill, Andrew Suits, Sara Grace, Chad Hollister, Jay Ekis, Brandon Klarich, Ira Friedman, Jonas Eno-Van Fleet, Katie Trautz, Kenna Donovan, Luke Auriemmo, and Paul Miller. The pre-release tracks 'Stand On The Rock' and 'Without You' have recently received radio play on WDGR, WRUV, and WNCS.

Ben has a rich musical history, touring with the likes of hip-hop funk band Dysfunkshun and playing with renowned artist Madou Dembele around the NYC music scene. He wrote and produced each song on the album with the intent of creating a piece of work that transcends traditional genres.

Speaking about the album, Ben said, "[Backline Collective] was designed to bring people together, both artists and listeners. We all have an idealized version of ourselves that we would like to keep whole. But, in reality, nothing is picture perfect. The album is about self-realization and the duality people face in everyday life. That dilemma, is what I think, just about anyone can relate with."

With the Album's launch on the horizon, Ben has embarked on his next project. He is in the process of bringing another round of successful artists to the studio to produce a follow-up album that again revolves around musical collaboration.

Ben continues, "A room full of musicians acts like a giant sponge. We all play off one another to the point of creating truly meaningful and authentic tracks. We thrive off each other, and there's nothing else like it."

The Backline Collective can be found for purchase on Reverb Nation (https://www.reverbnation.com/bendunham). You can expect Ben Dunham Music to release their next project Summer 2018.
