New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Tim Calandrello) Tim Calandrello, who served as writer, producer and editor of the upcoming documentary "Hired Gun," will host a Facebook Live Q&A about the film on Fri., June 30 at 1 p.m. EDT/11 a.m. PDT. The chat will take place on Twisted Pumpkin, Inc.'s Facebook page.
"Hired Gun" introduces audiences to some of the world's unsung heroes of the music industry through exclusive interviews and performances. The artists featured in the film have played with musical legends such as Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, Billy Joel, P!NK, Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Jackson,
Bon Jovi and many more.
"This was such a challenging but fun project to work on, and I'm really proud of the final product," said Calandrello. "'Hired Gun' shines a much deserved spotlight on these incredible musicians, and I can't wait to answer audience questions about the creation of the film."
Calandrello was an integral member of the team behind "Hired Gun," which will have a one-night only showing in theaters across the country on June 29.
"I call him Gretzky, because he really took the project to a new level," said Jason Hook, guitarist of Five Finger Death Punch, who is featured in the film. "He's a storyteller first and an editor second; it was wild to watch someone with that kind of experience do his thing. It's not just about stringing together everyone's best bit. It's about looking at the overall and creating a beginning, middle and an end. He nailed it."
The feature-length documentary has been screened to both critic and audience acclaim at SXSW Festival, Glastonbury Festival, MIFF, RIFF, IIFC, Calgary International and Noise Pop.
Calandrello's career spans nearly 20 years across many genres. His recent documentary credits include the Steven Spielberg produced "Auschwitz," "Farmland" from Academy ® Award-winning director
James Moll and the Grammy ® Award-winning film "Foo Fighters: Back & Forth," for which he was awarded a Gold Record and an NME Award. He is also the founder of Twisted Pumpkin, Inc., a film and television production and marketing company that specializes in documentaries, theatrical trailers and promo campaigns.
