Ben Gallaher, Sony Music Nashville Recording Artist, To Perform The Jam Before The Jam On July 7 In State College
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Ben Gallaher Official Website) Ben Gallaher, Sony Music Nashville Recording Artist, has announced his return to Pennsylvania to perform The Jam Before the Jam on July 7, in downtown State College. The concert is the evening before the first-ever Happy Valley Jam on July 8 at Beaver Stadium in State College, featuring headliner Blake Shelton, as well as Chris Young, Big & Rich, David Ray, and Adley Stump.

A Pennsylvania native and former Penn State student, Gallaher will perform from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the stage on the corner of East College and Allen Streets during State College's 'First Friday' summer festivities. Gallaher will showcase songs from his forthcoming EP.

"Coming back to to kick off the Blake Shelton weekend is a thrill for me! The energy in Happy Valley is unrivaled," says Gallaher, who spent his freshman year at Penn State before transferring and graduating from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. "I spent many Saturdays in Beaver Stadium at Penn State football games and in Rec Hall at wrestling matches. Nothing compares to the energy, passion, and worldwide 'family' of Penn Staters. As a former student, it's an honor to be part of the first annual Happy Valley Jam experience and play 'The Jam Before the Jam.'"

This is the first time that a concert will be held in historic Beaver Stadium, the second largest football stadium in the country with a capacity of 106,572. For tickets and information on the event, visit www.HappyValleyJam.com.
