New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Houston is growing by leaps and bounds. Story has it that soon it will eclipse Chicago as the third largest city in the U.S. and some twenty five years ago a guy named Steve Krase moved from his home town (NYC) to call Houston home.
Since that time the J.Geils Band loving dude has been "Mr. Showmanship" to literally thousands of blues rock fans all over the world.
The man's shows are upbeat energetic table topping, bar walking, knees sliding, in your lap, harp smokin', wailing the blues, ball of front and center get it done mountain of energy. So it's no wonder that the editor of the Houston Press, Chris Gray, included Steve Krase in The Houston Press 2017 Top Ten.
Congratulations Steve.
Someone once asked Steve how he would like to be remembered within the music world and Steve replied, " I don't know I guess that I was a part of it and enjoyed it all the way from the beginning to the end."
You'd have to know Steve to appreciate that statement to its fullest and for anyone that doesn't know him he is one of most generous men in the music business, both on and off the stage.
