Low Cut Connie Release Official Video For Cover Of Prince's "Controversy"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Low Cut Connie recently released their fourth studio album Dirty Pictures (Part 1) available worldwide via Contender Records. The album was recorded on analog tape at the legendary Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN and is available for purchase and streaming via iTunes, Spotify, and Amazon.

Today, Diffuser FM premiered the official video for the band's version of Prince's "Controversy." In a lengthy Q&A with critic Annie Zaleski, frontman Adam Weiner discussed the band's connection to Prince, bringing all sides of the political and social spectrum together, and '80s music videos.

Consequence of Sound premiered "Controversy" on April 20, 2017, the one year anniversary of Prince's untimely passing.

During a visit to The Current in Minneapolis, MN earlier this year, frontman Adam Weiner told a remarkable story about former President Barack Obama's connection to The Purple One that he discovered when he visited the White House in 2015.

Recently, Weiner spoke with Sir Elton John on his Beats 1 radio show about their latest album, their upcoming UK tour, and the importance of naming your piano.

Dirty Pictures (Part 1) was named one of Rolling Stone's 50 Best Albums of 2017 So Far and Sound Opinions' Top 10 Albums of 2017... So Far. The album recevied acclaim from Rolling Stone, Mojo, The Chicago Tribune, AllMusic, Glide Magazine, American Songwriter and many more.
