Altibox Implements Mediamorph Platform To Streamline Content Supply Chain And Enable Continued Expansion
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Altibox, a European pioneer of IP-based premium TV services, has implemented Mediamorph's leading cloud-based platform to power the VOD Value Chain for its current and next-generation TV on-demand services (TVOD, EST, and SVOD). Altibox provides TV services to more than a million viewers and was looking for a solution to manage its storefront content and costs more effectively.

Manual processes to manage the supply chain simply can't keep up given the growth in viewers, contract complexity, titles, user devices, and platforms. Mediamorph's suite of products streamline the end-to-end content flow for Altibox -- from receiving titles and rights from content owners and 3rd party vendors, to pushing content to its storefront to calculating supplier settlement payments.

"The rapid adoption of our service has been tremendous, but to get us to the next level of growth, we needed to look at those areas that were holding us back," said Hans-Bjarne Solheim, Head of Content and Product Strategy at Altibox. "The Mediamorph platform, which stood apart from other industry solutions, provides us the insight and control needed to meet our growth and revenue goals."

Altibox has deployed several Mediamorph modules: Connect Data Management, Digital Deals, Offer Management, Digital Supplier Payments, and Analytics. The integrated modules serve as the core data engine to Altibox's content flows, streamlining the video supply chain and connecting to all of their critical TV platforms.

"We are excited to be working with Altibox to help evolve their next-generation TV service," said Rob Gardos, CEO of Mediamorph. "Digital TV offerings have hit an inflection point, where management via spreadsheet and manual processes simply can't keep up. Mediamorph's platform helps Altibox maximize revenues and control costs as it continues to scale its business."
