LOS ANGELES (M.A.C. Media) - In order to be an Artifact/something has to be dead and buried/apparently no one told Tame One that. Few people from the New Jersey (New Jeruz) or the tri-state have represented the elements of hip-hop as well as former Artifact's member Tame One; where as a member of the influential duo, Tame helped craft a classic debut, Between A Rock And A Hard Place that still resonates a full decade after its release.

Known for both his vocal presence and lyrical prowess (Tame is one of the best emcees from Hiphop's golden age that is still putting it down) on the mic and his trademark graffiti tags (I.E. bombing), Tame One brings a classical element of style to the hip-hop culture that few artists can rival.
After releasing his well-received solo-debut, When Rappers Attack, in 2003 and a collaborative project with recent Def Jux signee Cage, The Leak Brothers, Tame One has put the finishing touches on his sophomore opus, OG Bobby Johnson, which will be released on 3-22-05 via Eastern Conference Records.

Similar to the title of the LP (taken from a character in the movie South Central), OG Bobby Johnson offers the hardcore stylings and raw lyrics (Tame's rendition of Toxic is not on some Britney Spears shit) we've come to expect from the notty headed terror. OG Bobby Johnson features production from High & Mighty production stalwart DJ Mighty Mi, CamuTao, Dialekt and guest appearances from Yak Ballz and CamuTao & Metro of S.A. Smash.
If it ain't rough it ain't right; say it loud--OG Bobby Johnson on 3-22-05!
