New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Following continued growing support from BBC6music and Radio X, Manchester-based DIY trio False Advertising are pleased to present their new single 'Hey You' which is out now via all good digital retailers.

Commenting on the track the band say: "A rallying cry against gender-stereotyping with a sound rooted in fuzzy, 90s alternative rock, 'Hey You' is the sound of three friends rising above the stupidity and monotony that surrounds us and translating that independence and power into scarily accessible, loud, music."

Later in the Autumn, Jen, Chris and Josh are set to release their forthcoming EP I Would Be So Much Happier If I Just Stopped Caring on limited edition cassette available exclusively on the band's forthcoming UK tour, then going on general release on October 27th.

The tour runs over 19 headline dates across September / October, with dates including London, Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham, Newcastle, Hull, Reading, Stowmarket and many more (see below for full list).

I Would Be So Much Happier… was recorded between Abbey Road, Low Four Studio in Manchester, AOO Studios in Hull and at the band's own rehearsal space, fusing the band's DIY ethos with a host of new collaborators, including Brendan Williams (Mercury nominated for his work with Go Go Penguin) and Pat Pretorious (The Talks).
I Would Be So Much Happier… is released 27th October 2017
