New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Ed Sheeran, Stormzy, Little Mix, Ariana Grande, The Chainsmokers and Mo Farah were amongst the names that won awards in the celebrity categories at Radio 1's Teen Awards today - held at The SSE Arena, Wembley in front of a 10,000 audience of 14-17 year olds.

Now in its eighth year, the biggest event in the teen calendar was hosted by Radio 1 Breakfast Show host Nick Grimshaw and co-host Rita Ora and featured performances from Liam Payne, Dua Lipa, The Vamps, Camila Cabello and co-host Rita Ora.

The inspirational stories and achievements of four amazing Radio 1 teen heroes were at the heart of the event - with stars from the world of entertainment, music and sport - including Luke Evans, Louisa Johnson, Ella Eyre, James Arthur, Tom Daley and the cast of EastEnders joining in the celebrations at the glitzy ceremony.

Radio 1's Teen Hero Winners of 2017 are:

My Mind & Me Teen Hero Award for Mental Health - Holly (15) and Oliver (13)

Holly and Oliver offer psychological, emotional and physical care to their mum. Over the last 18 months Holly and Oliver have set up a charity called 'The Adams Movement', with their older brother Josh.

One Million Hours Teen Hero Award for Volunteering - Charlotte (17)

Having been though the care system herself, Charlotte is passionate about changing the future of care and uses her own experience to influence nationwide policy.

Generally Amazing Teen Hero Award - Harrison (12)
Harrison inspires other children with tackling obesity, anxiety and depression, after he turned his life around through exercise and changing his diet. Harrison documented his own journey via social media, inspiring other children to follow in his footsteps.
The celebrity awards were voted for by Radio 1's listeners.
