Music congratulates artist writer
Jessie James Decker on the chart-topping success of 'Southern Girl City Lights,' which debuts at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart this week. Not only is 'Southern Girl City Lights' Decker's first Billboard No. 1, it's also her first album for Epic Records. Decker wrote nine of the album's 12 songs, which were produced by Big Yellow Dog
Music writer
Daniel Agee.
"Huge congrats to
Jessie and the Epic team! So much fun working with you on this project. Special thank you to Epic EVP of A&R Paul Pontius!" says Big Yellow Dog
Music co-founder Carla Wallace, who began working with Decker when she was 17. "She has always been a true talent."
Kerry O'Neil, who started Big Yellow Dog
Music with Wallace in 1998, adds, "We're so pleased to see
Jessie get the success she deserves -- big voice, big heart, big success!"
Big Yellow Dog
Music has been involved with Decker since the beginning of her career, signing her as an artist writer in 2014. Big Yellow Dog
Music also released several singles on
Jessie on its in-house record label, including "Lights Down Low," which led to her signing to Epic.
