MEST Frontman Tony Lovato Premieres Acoustic Version Of "Paradise" On Alternative Press; 'Broken Down II', Featuring New Takes On Fan Favorites Out November 3
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Tony Lovato, frontman of beloved Illinois pop-punk act MEST, will release a new acoustic record, the second in his Broken Down series. A track off the record ("Paradise") is premiering today on Alternative Press: *https://www.altpress.com/features/entry/mest_paradise_acoustic*.

MEST- Broken Down II is now available for pre-order and will be released on November 3. The fan-funded project features Lovato performing new versions of fan favorites from the MEST catalog.

MEST will play a series of shows in December, including dates with MR. T EXPERIENCE in Chicago (Dec 1) and St. Louis (Dec 2), and with MXPX, GOLDFINGER, and SLICK SHOES on December at the Novo in Los Angeles!

MEST formed in 1995. They released their 1st independent record in 1998 and went on to sign with Maverick Records releasing their first major label debut in July 2000, which was produced by John Feldmann.

MEST went on to release 3 additional records with Maverick, while touring the world with Goldfinger, Social Distortion, Fall Out Boy, and Warped Tour in '03, '05, and '13.

MEST originally disbanded in 2006 but have recently reunited to play festival shows like Riot Fest.
