CMS Nashville And Folds Of Honor Celebrate Top Songwriters With Late Night Party
NASHVILLE, TN. (Top40 Charts) CMS Nashville, alongside their friends at Folds of Honor, celebrated the year's top Songwriters at a party held last night in Nashville. The late night bash, which went well into the wee hours, hosted a crowd of industry VIPs and artists in addition to songwriting royalty.
The 4th annual party opened with a roaring performance by Hillbilly Rich singer, Tim Montana. Dee Jay Silver kept the party vibe high throughout the night spinning the year's chart topping hits. The highlight of the evening was the year's top songwriter honorees 1st time winner, Justin Ebach of SESAC, Ross Copperman of BMI for the 2nd year in a row and for a record setting 4th consecutive year, Ashley Gorley of ASCAP being presented Jostens Super Bowl style gold rings by CMS Nashville Chairman and CEO, Chris King and Jostens' VP of Marketing, Curt Bruns.

Earlier in the night, Folds of Honor helped boost its new Nashville chapter (launched at the same event last year) with a star-studded event at the new FGL House in Nashville. The VIP gathering gave attendees a chance to learn more about the organization which provides educational scholarships to families of military men and women who have fallen or been disabled while on active duty in the United States Armed Forces.

"What a great evening honoring country music's biggest hitmakers while supporting military families," says Chris King, chairman and CEO of CMS Nashville. "The evening raised over $65,000 for Folds of Honor. Thank you to everyone who made this special night happen."

The event was emceed by Folds of Honor's Major Ed Pulido, joined by Ginger Gilbert Ravella, the widow of Air Force pilot Major Troy Gilbert who was killed in action. Craig Campbell, Tim Montana, and Elvie Shane all performed original pieces in an emotion filled round for the evening's VIPs. Sponsors of the event included Jostens, Yamaha Electronics, El Jimador Tequila, Budweiser, and Weather Guard.
