New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Taylor Grey Productions) Rising artist Taylor Grey has debuted the official lyric video for her latest single, "Poison." The 20-year-old Stanford sophomore delivers one of her most heartfelt songs, an emotionally evolved track that explores and exposes her vulnerability as a songwriter. Recorded at Pulse Studios, "Poison" was produced by Josh Abraham (P!nk, Justin Bieber) and co-written/produced by Oliver "Oligee" Goldstein (Christina Aguilera, Kelly Clarkson).

"Poison juxtaposes the confidence of knowing who you are with the vulnerability of the loss of control when unexpectedly falling for someone," explains Taylor. "Sometimes that feeling you get when you fall in love with the wrong person is like 'poison,' it's toxic, and it seems to me from my experience that this is something to which a lot of people in the age of internet dating can relate. These lyrics are very personal to me and I feel like they reflect my growth both as a person and as a musician. Boy would my psych professors at Stanford have a field day with this one."

"Poison" taps into the inescapable and universal turmoil that comes from wearing your heart on your sleeve. Through the filter of Taylor's authenticity, honesty and undeniable talent, "Poison" sees musical evolution unfolding.

Following the release of her highly anticipated debut album Space Case this summer, Taylor joined Jacob Whitesides on his "Basically Happy Tour" and shared the stage with O'Town, Ryan Cabrera and Sabrina Carpenter. She also completed an extensive radio tour of Top 40 stations throughout the United States. Taylor's last performance of 2017 will be WZKR's "Let It Snow" holiday show in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, where she will perform alongside All Time Low, Jake Miller and others.
