New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Company) Blending raw energy, hip-hop influenced grooves and the syncopated grind of 8 bit guitar, Royal Blood, Biffy Clyro and Arctic Monkeys' influenced rock quartet The Baskervilles return with 'Kalashnikov' music video. The 'Kalashnikov' video follows frontman James Betts switching between the AK-47 and his guitar, burying and burning the riffle in true rock and roll fashion.

Having released 'Kalashnikov' 1st December 2017, the band wanted to bring the track to life with the self-produced video reflecting the messages within the lyrics.

The Baskervilles explain: "Kalashnikov is the voice of anger for anyone who has the sense that we are currently being dealt a bleak future through the decisions made by the elite few. Though don't mistake Kalashnikov as a war cry for violence, the message in both the song and video is about taking a hard look into the twisted mirror of our society and understanding it's full of hypocrisy, the world needs to change but nothing good can come from screaming peace and love with a Kalashnikov in your hands."

The band have spent the last year working in the studio with award winning producer Tom Donovan, finding ways to push the boundaries of what is considered 'rock music'.
