Breakout Country Artist Russell Dickerson Celebrates The Arrival Of Monster Debut Single "Yours" At No 1 With RIAA Platinum Certification
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country music's most promising new artist, Russell Dickerson, celebrates his unprecedented rise to No. 1 with his debut single "Yours" off the full-length inaugural album by the same name, and his first career platinum certification. The breakout ballad that became the wedding anthem of the year has seen 88 million total U.S. audio streams to date, with 3.7 million streams last week, consistently trending up from each week prior. The fete arrives on the heels of last week's anticipated joint tour announcement with Dickerson set to support Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker on their long-awaited North American "Summer Plays On" Tour, kicking off this July in Toronto.
"I fought for this song for so long and now this song is fighting for me. I've watched the charts for so many years cheering on my heroes and friends, and I've dreamt of this exact day for decades— having the number one song in country music," said the Nashville-based singer/ songwriter.

Continuing, "We wrote 'Yours' on January 24th, 2014. That day I knew we had written the song that was going to change my life. That was exactly four years ago this week. I knew it then and I held onto the dream the entire time. Every show, every station, every flight and every mile has been poured into the mission to take 'Yours' to the top, and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Thank you to my wife, my team, the RD Fam and country radio for this huge honor. We're just getting started!"
Russell Dickerson's "Yours" is available on Spotify, itunes and anywhere music is sold.

ABOUT RUSSELL DICKERSON
Breakout country artist and People Magazine's "One to Watch," Nashville-based Russell Dickerson continues to overtake airwaves and arenas with his platinum single "Yours," repeatedly called the "biggest love song of the year," off his debut album by the same name. The "hypnotic" (CMT) crooner kicks off what promises to be his landmark year as Billboard's No.1_Emerging_Artist, a Spotify RISE artist and CMT's 18 for 2018. With a deep appreciation for and responsibility to his loyal fan following, Dickerson understands the importance of real connectivity, spending as much time as he can on the road in front of the people who made him the #1 country pre-order for weeks (2017 saw tour billings that included Thomas Rhett's "Home Team" Tour and Florida Georgia Line's "Smooth" tour, and finished with his first headlining tour, and kicks Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker's "Summer Plays On" Tour in Toronto this July). His EP premiered at No. 1 on Billboard's Heat Seeker Chart and No. 2 on iTunes Country chart, with "Yours" landing at No. 1 on Billboard's Country chart and clocking over 100 million streams to date. The singer and songwriter is the launch artist on Triple Tigers Records, a joint venture with Sony Music. Dickerson's "Blue Tacoma" was also recently featured in the tenth installment of the "X-Men" film franchise, "Logan".
