Lorde's Royals Receives RIAA Diamond Certification

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Grammy Award winning songstress is one of only five females in RIAA Gold & Platinum Program history to earn a Diamond Song. "Royals" (released March 19, 2013) is one of only six Diamond Songs released and certified in the last five years.

Issued by the RIAA, the award signifies at least 10 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Upon receiving her diamond plaque, Lorde celebrated the occasion — and posed for pictures — with family members and Republic co-founders Monty and Avery Lipman.

Republic shared some of those photos following Friday's party, which took place at Cadillac House in New York.
