Meka Nism Releases Official Music Video For "The War Inside"

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Florida based alternative metal band Meka Nism has released the official music video for their single "The War Inside," off of their upcoming, as yet unnamed EP. Originally premiered on New Noise Magazine, "The War Inside" was directed by Jim Dougherty with creative direction from front-woman Meka.

The music video for " The War Inside" is the visual representation of the internal struggles that some of us battle throughout our entire lives. From anxiety to depression, addiction and insecurity, we all deal with some type of inner demons that affect us on different levels. In the video, the story is one of self healing through the spiritual journey of the Shaman. Meka portrays both her own lost soul fragments and her own hero. She faces her fears by confronting them head on in each of her energy centers, which are portrayed by six butoh dancers. We each have the power and courage to face our struggles and to save ourselves from all that we are desperately fighting.
