After Supporting The Waterboys, Singer/Songwriter Alba Steps Away From Rock Roots To Release Neo-Soul Single 'Lucky'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After years of rock experience as the front woman of Sons Of Rock in her native Spain, winning dozens of awards for her live and studio work, performing in over a hundred venues including festivals such as Rock In Rio, The Great Escape and Ronnie Scott's, ALBA has returned with soulful single 'Lucky, her most mature and sophisticated work to date.

The London-based singer, guitarist and songwriter steps away from her rock roots - that gained her sponsorships with Harley Davidson and Red Bull, the experience to work with Grammy-winning producer Nigel Walker and the opportunity to share the stage with artists such as Amy Winehouse and The Waterboys - to dive into newer sounds.

ALBA's musical journey as a solo artist started in 2014 with the release of single 'Alone in the Dark', featuring renowned flamenco guitarist José Antonio Rodríguez, which she presented on the road during her 'Alone in the UK' Tour for audiences in Brighton, Bristol, Liverpool and London. She also had the chance to showcase her work in Paris and New York.

ALBA established herself in London in 2016, where she crafted a new sound with the support of an outstanding line-up formed by drummer Dan Day, bassist Ton Mbiba and keyboard player Kay Olajide, materialised in 'The London Sessions' live-recorded EP.

ALBA's new single 'Lucky', recorded at Ralph Salmins' (The Waterboys, Van Morrison) studios in London and mastered by Frank Arkwright (The Killers, Coldplay) at legendary Abbey Road Studios, takes this new sound to the next level. With some killer brass lines by Greg Sinclair and Toby Street, 'Lucky' is shaped around the essence of rock with a touch of neo-soul and funked-up pop, and makes ALBA someone worth keeping on your radar.
