Maxwell Will Headline The 10th Annual Mothers Day Festival & Anniversary Concert In Atlantic City; Special Guests: Joe, Stokely, Vivian Green, Gladys Knight, The Dramatics & More
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Celebrating 10 years of being the nations largest Mothers Day Festival in the U.S, Platinum Productions and Big Bloc Entertainment are gearing up to celebrate mothers and their 10-year Anniversary with three-time GRAMMY award-winning singer and songwriter, Maxwell for the annual Mothers Day Festival.

Launched in 2008, by Platinum Productions and Big Bloc Entertainment, the annual R&B festival has grown from a one-day concert to a three day multi-concert and entertainment series hosted in Atlantic City, NJ. The Mothers Day Festival will draw over 20,000 mothers and families from all over the United States to partake in the festivities from Friday, May 11th ending on Sunday May 13th 2018.

In addition to their 10-year legacy, the business duo has more to celebrate. Festival founder, Bill Ingram attributes his idea to produce the Mothers Day festival out of his appreciation for the sacrifice that his very own mother made. Gifting him with his first business loan, which jumpstarted his career and company in the late 90's. Co-founder, Walt Reeder Jr., a top celebrity-booking agent also believes in honoring the contributions that mothers make everyday. Reeder's mother is a member of the Big Bloc Entertainment family and has become a staple in the global success of the Philadelphia based company.

Billed as "The largest festival in the world that celebrates mothers", the Mothers Day Festival is a celebration of motherhood and music…" says Walt Reeder Jr. of Big Bloc Entertainment.

R&B artist Maxwell will serenade mothers and festival patrons with classic hits that include " This Woman's Work " from the John Hughes movie "She's Having a Baby" and his new Grammy award winning single "Lake by the Ocean".

This year's lineup also includes some R&B favorites such as Joe, Stokely, Vivian Green, and R&B living legends Gladys Knight, The Whispers, and The Dramatics ft. LJ Reynolds.

The two entertainment executives have grown the annual Mothers Day Festival into an unforgettable, entertainment-filled weekend that has featured some of the top artists in the music industry. This is a one-of-a-kind experience, and fun for all. Located right in the heart of Atlantic City, the business duo will celebrate their careers spanning over 20, which contributes to bringing over 180,000 tourists each year to the boardwalk. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in everything from exciting promotions, celebrity meet & greets, social media contests to unbelievable nightlife events. The festivities will include a MidnightFashion Show, a customer appreciation party, and a Mothers Day Jazz Brunch at Ballys Hotel & Casino from10:00- 2:00pm.

"What better way to commemorate this special time in our history and celebrate mothers than with a star-studded, fun-filled concert series which truly encompasses so many of the legendary performances that we have produced over the past decade." Says Bill Ingram, Executive producer and owner of Platinum Productions.
