Downtown Appoints Bruce Lampcov Head Of West Coast Business Development
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Downtown Music Publishing has today announced the appointment of Bruce Lampcov as Head of West Coast Business Development. Based in the company's Los Angeles office, Lampcov will be responsible for expanding Downtown's roster of prominent artist and songwriter catalogs, media companies, and film composers. The announcement was made by Andrew Sparkler, Downtown's Senior Vice President, Business Development.

"We are incredibly excited to welcome Bruce to the Downtown family." said Sparkler. His deep and varied industry experience will greatly increase our presence in Los Angeles and beyond. Additionally, having Bruce on the team will bring with it some familiar aspects (he has excellent taste in food) and some unique ones (as far as I know, he's our only employee who is a semi-professional cyclist)."

"Justin and the Downtown team have created a truly unique music company that is at the forefront of modern music publishing," said Lampcov. "Downtown's artist centric and tech driven approach provides a vibrant, passionate voice for today's music creators. I'm thrilled to be representing Downtown in Los Angeles and help build its family of artists, songwriters and content owners."

Before joining Downtown, Lampcov was Executive Vice President at Fintage House where he was responsible for building the company's music publishing and industry-leading neighboring rights business, and signed the likes of Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Rihanna, Jay Z, Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Calvin Harris, and the John Lennon Estate. At Fintage Lampcov also signed numerous music and media companies such as Lionsgate, National Geographic, Hasbro, Concorde Music, Roc Nation, and Sub Pop. Prior to his stint a Fintage, Lampcov was Managing Director of Kobalt Music for its first four years. Lampcov's career in the music began in the 80's as an engineer and producer at The Power Station, where he worked with artists such as Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Bryan Adams, Peter Gabriel, The Pretenders, Lou Reed, The The, and The Eurythmics.
