Speaking on the releases, Plasterer Records owner and Wonk Unit frontman Alex Wonk said, "Honestly, I think it's the best Wonk album to date. It reminds me of the earlier material. It feels like an album where we'll play every track live. It has a fragility, it's a melancholic record. You'll find a bit of hope amongst the darkness.
