New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hungary's most evolving band are about to embark on a UK tour. If you're not aware of Middlemist Red just yet you really need to be, they produce atmospheric Psych Rock that is absolutely second to none. The foursome formed in 2012 and instantly had a great impact on the music scene in Budapest, as well as significant international acknowledgement on the back of their very succesful European tour.
Since then they have expanded the list of notable bands they have performed with from Wooden Shjips, to Preoccupations, Telegram,
Black Lips and Desert Mountain Tribe to name just a few.
They then went on to organise Central Eastern Europe's first hugely successful Psych Festival Vanishing Point, where they have been instrumental in strengthening Budapest's Psych scene.
Between the first (Supersonic Overdrive, 2014) and second (Ripple Soul, 2016) LP's, Middlemist Red have developed their sound with the band's approach to music becoming more intimate, they have new music currently being recorded with what they consider to be a "more mature mindset, the songs have evolved to a whole new level."
After first visiting the UK to play at 2016's Alternative Escape the band are back to play their first full tour.
The tour got together with the help of Scruff Of The Neck, Wet
Dream Records and Desert Mountain Tribe.
