Robert Miller's Project Grand Slam Releases Their New Album Trippin' On June 29, 2018
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Robert Miller's Project Grand Slam, the acclaimed Jazz Rock Fusion band, will release their new album, Trippin', on June 29 on Cakewalk Records distributed by SONY/The Orchard; the follow-up to their celebrated album The PGS Experience.

Trippin' features 10 new tracks written by Miller, including the following vocals featuring the band's incredible singer Ziarra Washington: "Lament", "You Started Something", "No No No" and "Everyone Swears"; instrumentals "1972", "Country Drive", "Ride 'em "High" and the title song; two "special" songs "March of the Diplomats" and "Cousins", plus a PGS-reimagined version of The Who's iconic "I Can't Explain".

The latter track continues Miller's trend of reimagining a Brit-classic on each album. As Miller said recently to The MacWire, "I grew up on the British Invasion and Classic Rock songs. They're in my DNA." Miller and PGS previously re-worked Cream's "I'm So Glad" on The PGS Experience (2017) album, The Kinks' "You Really Got Me," on The Queen's Carnival (2016) album, and Jimi Hendrix's "Fire" on their Made In New York (2015) album - all to rave reviews.

Advance reviews of Trippin' have been nothing short of spectacular, with two of the most respected music writers/reviewers showering the CD with their highest accolades. Jonathan Widran calls Trippin' a "truly amazing album", while Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck gives the album his highest 5 star rating and says "Trippin' has musicianship beyond reproach."

The PGS Experience was called a "must know about" album by Jazziz Magazine and a Best Of 2017 by The MacWire. The Queen's Carnival was called "a uniquely affecting work…impossibly memorable" by No Depression, and Made In New York was called "fantastic" by BVS Reviews.

Miller and PGS have opened recently for legends including Edgar Winter, Blues Traveler, Boney James, Mindi Abair and YES, earning ovations from their audiences, and have headlined at various festivals and performing arts centers. John Popper of Blues Traveler and Mindi Abair have both called the band's concert performances "amazing", and unsolicited concertgoers have said "You blew our socks off!"

Miller and PGS will be performing extensively this summer at various festivals, including the band's first two European performances in August at the Silda Jazz Festival in Norway followed back-to-back by the Nisville Jazz Festival in Serbia.
