The Voques Easier Said Than Done

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Voques are an indie synth pop/rock band emanating from Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Having culminated their diverse influences (both musical and literary), the band have meticulously worked to craft their inspirations into a novel, yet retrospective sound. This has proved highly effective, as the band have been met with an overwhelming reception not only on the stage, but also via online streaming platforms, music reviews, radio plays and social media. The Voques are currently gigging across the UK, whilst continuously writing and demoing new material, with a back catalogue that boasts over 100 finished songs. The bands inspirations and influences range from 1960s English bands such as the Beatles, rolling stones and the kinks, to more modern acts, such as chvrches and Arctic Monkeys. Such a vast array of sonic stimuli has allowed the band to extract interesting elements from each and create something entirely new, yet somehow remarkably familiar.

Lots of melodies, lots of choruses. The band have had support from BBC Introducing and are playing a number of dates May/June 2018.
The song is a reflection on a person going off the rails.
