New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On May 18, Low Cut Connie will release Dirty
Pictures (Part 2) via Contender Records. The album is now streaming in its entirety via NPR
Music First Listen. NPR's Alison Fensterstock said, "Across five albums of piano-driven rock and soul, Low Cut Connie has proven masterfully fluent in the foundational languages of Western pop, living at the crossroads where the church house meets the roadhouse, or where the Dew Drop Inn meets CBGB... The blood that pumps through the Philadelphia band's work comes from a place that's fresh, original, and truly pledged to rock and roll." Stream Dirty

In celebration of the new album, Low Cut Connie is hosting album release shows in Philadelphia on May 17 at Union
Transfer and in New York City on May 18 at Bowery Ballroom. This summer, the band will hit the road for an extensive tour with Social Distortion. The band will also make appearances at Bonnaroo, Bottle Rock, Newport Folk Festival, Pickathon, Rock The Garden and more. Find a full list of tour dates below.
For their fifth and most fully-realized album to date, the band travelled from their home turf of South Philadelphia to the legendary Ardent Studios in Memphis, TN where they cut their critically-acclaimed 2017 release Dirty
Pictures (Part 1).
Recently, Billboard spoke with frontman Adam Weiner, who co-directed the official video for the single "Beverly."
Rolling Stone's
David Fricke caught the band at SXSW and said, "Their headlining set at the Parish was a typical whiplash of Fifties rock & roll dynamics and controlled-Replacements vigor... They also brought a bonafide hit, ready for crossover." Chris Riemenschneider of the Minneapolis Star Tribune named the band one of his favorite acts of SXSW and said, "The rowdy Philly soul-rock band already has a great live reputation made all the better, livelier and bawdier by the songs from their upcoming record."
Over the past 7 years and a now annual 100 shows a year, the band has grown their cult following to include fans like President Barack Obama, who included their song "Boozophilia" on his summer Spotify summer playlist and invited Weiner to the White House. Last year, Sir
Elton John made the band a staple on his Beats 1 radio show Rocket Hour and invited Weiner on the show for an interview where they discussed the importance of naming your piano and the legacy of piano-based rock n roll.
