The California-based band "Your Favorite Color" was born from the members shared love for music. The Alternative-Indie rock band consists of Matthew Warren (lead vocalist), Luke Fuhrman (drummer), Ari Miranda (bass guitarist), David Silveria (lead guitarist), and Nicky Neighbors (keyboardist).

When Matthew Warren moved from Utah to California, he found himself spending most of his time surfing. Through his new adventures in California, Matthew became involved in music lessons and eventually in his first band. With a passion for music but no where to expand his talent, a friend helped him set up an in-home music studio. It was there where he became passionate for songwriting and wrote the band's first single "Heartless".

Through sharing the song with his friend Luke Fuhrman, the bands drummer, Luke saw the songs potential for what it could become. To make "Heartless" a hit, Luke knew it needed more people and layers to give it a great sound. Eventually, the two recruited the rest of their band and became "Your Favorite Color".
