Yam Haus - "West Coast"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "In a universe of stories left undone, can you believe that you've been given what you want?"
With this surprising question to the audience, the crew of Yam Haus has led their debut album, 'Stargazer'. After getting finished with their high school musical performances, the Minneapolis-based band, Yam Haus has ultimately entered to the bigger world of music and lyrics, with the nine amazing soundtracks, collected in 'Stargazer'. A bunch of young, talented boys with unique musicality, have shown the world that, you don't need to be a veteran to compose beautiful music. One has to have the creative zeal to come out with musical creations. And this is so true in the soundtrack, "West Coast", from 'Stargazer'.

At the first glance, "West Coast" sounds like an experimental work on the EDM music genre. But, as the song progresses, it turns out to be a mixture of classic rock and roll and pop music genres. Yam Haus's love for punchy pop, rock, hip-hop, is clearly visible in this song; it seems like the band is aiming to increase the musical craving of the audience through "West Coast".

What does make a song special? Is it the melody, instrumental, lyric, rhythm, or the performance of the artist?

The answer is, all of them. When a soothing melody, a thoughtful lyrics, proportionate use of instrumental, suitable rhythmic beat, powerful vocal, and flawless presentation--- all these elements needs to be merged together to create a sonic bliss. Although Yam Haus is a newcomer in the world of music, "West Coast'' shows their credibility to form a sonic bliss, making the audience burst at the seams. One's heart cannot get satisfied with listening to the song for only once. Once you press the play button, you get caught yourself in the never-ending rewind mechanism.

As "West Coast" starts off one way and suddenly takes another root to win the hearts of the audience, this surprising jerking of mood, itself shows what these young boys are capable of producing. This mind-jolting pop, rock and roll mixture makes Yam Haus music sound pure, authentic, and organic. The soundtrack is very friendly, fun, and extremely entertaining, making the listener fall his head over heels.

The soundtrack is very friendly, fun, and extremely entertaining, making the audience fall their head over heels. The dancing rhythmic beat, unique styling of sound, are easily perceptible, still more entertaining and exciting to listen to. In terms of the lyrical presentation, "West Coast" brings the lead singer, Lars Pruitt's quest to find hope amidst heartbreak under the spotlight. Yam Haus has shown their extraordinary skill in transforming "West Coast" into a pure and filtered form of music to level it up to the effort. In fact, the theme, of love, romance, heartbreak, despair, and rejuvenation of the soul through finding the true light of hope-- is flowing underneath the song, like a subterranean river.

With the release of 'Stargazer', a fantastic soundtrack, titled "West Coast" within, Yam Haus has successfully paved the ways to become a recognizable band in the world of music and verses.

And if a track like "West Coast" is the beginning, then there are absolutely many more great songs are to come.
